STARS
STARS-Formally Course Reps
STARS are here to represent students at the university no matter how big or small the problem is.
Some past success of STARS
- Because of STARS placement students are now represented within the university whilst working in industry for a year.
- STAR’s have raised and support issues relating to assessment and teaching on the course.
- A key role of STARS is to implement change. An example of this is that as a result of STAR feedback the placement portfolio is now included within the attainment assessments for Level 2.
What can STARS do for you?
- Accurately and anonymously represent your thoughts at meetings with the course team and the Student’s Union, ensuring that those who need to hear your feedback do.
- Seek an answer to your queries and following this up on your behalf when an instantaneous response is not possible.
- Feedback to you individually and on a larger scale if the issue affects all students.
- All comments will be treated confidentially and handled in a sensitive manner.
