STARS are here to represent students at the university no matter how big or small the problem is.

Some past success of STARS

Because of STARS placement students are now represented within the university whilst working in industry for a year.
STAR’s have raised and support issues relating to assessment and teaching on the course.
A key role of STARS is to implement change. An example of this is that as a result of STAR feedback the placement portfolio is now included within the attainment assessments for Level 2.

What can STARS do for you?

Accurately and anonymously represent your thoughts at meetings with the course team and the Student’s Union, ensuring that those who need to hear your feedback do.
Seek an answer to your queries and following this up on your behalf when an instantaneous response is not possible.
Feedback to you individually and on a larger scale if the issue affects all students.
All comments will be treated confidentially and handled in a sensitive manner.
