About Us

The aim of The Events Society is to complement and enhance the experience that the Event Management degree course at the UKCEM already offers to it's students. It aims to ensure that the UKCEM Event Management students remain the most employable graduates in the events industry. 

Training

The objective of this area of The Events Society is to offer a wide range of training courses and workshops to our members which would be useful to the event managers of the future.  Offering industry recognised training courses ensures that our members are the most employable students in the industry as well as creating networking opportunities too.

The Industry Link Strand

This strand of The Events Society provides students with the chance to gain valuable work experience on a wide range of projects and events, as well as providing external and internal clients with a pool of the best volunteers/staff for their events.

The Social Strand

The Social Strand not only generates a profit for The Events Society to be able to complete its aims and objectives, but also provides a valuable networking tool for students to meet with other students at different levels in the course; to share knowledge and create an Events Management community.
